After many wonderful training camps organized in 2023, ChessBase India is bringing them once again in 2024! The first training camp of this year will be organized from 2nd to 7th April at the ChessBase India Training Academy located in Bhopal. Just like last time, a total of 12 players can participate in this camp. FIDE instructor Niklesh Jain and Women International Master Angela Franco of Colombia will be the trainers! This camp will run from Tuesday, 2nd April till Saturday, 6th April - after that, the next day on Sunday, 7th April, the participants of the camp will get a chance to participate in the ChessBase India Khelo Chess India Rapid Tournament among the players from all over the state! The 4th ChessBase India training Camp kicks off from 2nd April
Receiving proper training at the right time is necessary for a sportsperson. Not only does it give you new momentum to your career, but it also helps you in identifying yourself as a player! ChessBase India had started organizing these ChessBase India Training Camps since last year to provide a world-class training environment. We are back with the training camps this year! The first chess camp of the year will be held in Bhopal from 2nd-7th April.
In this camp which will take place from 2nd-7th April, FIDE Instructor Niklesh Jain and Women International Master Angela Franco will be the trainers.
Starting from 8.30 am, this camp will continue till 8 pm in the night. There will be 2 breaks during the day!

WIM Angela Franco
Women International Master Angela Franco is a 12-time national chess champion of Colombia, and is currently the highest-rated rapid chess player in her country!
Angela has played 7 Chess Olympiads for Colombia till now!
For about 10 years, she has trained young chess players in Colombia, many of whom are big names in Colombia chess today.
Angela, along with her sister Beatriz, has been representing her country Colombia in international chess for the last 28 years.
Angela has won the Best Female Player Award twice in Category A of India's most prestigious tournament, Delhi Open.
FIDE Instructor Niklesh Jain
FI Niklesh Jain has been working in the field of chess training since 2005. Niklesh was the first player from Madhya Pradesh to become a FIDE Instructor in 2015!
As of now, Niklesh is a licensed FIDE Instructor till the year 2025.
Niklesh worked as a chess trainer at Saina International School, a famous school in Central India, from 2006-2017 - 11 years in a row!
In 2009, Niklesh took 8 talented kids to the World School Chess Championships in Greece.
In that event, Anshuman Singh won Madhya Pradesh's first medal in chess in any world-level tournament!
Under Niklesh's training, Saina School won Madhya Pradesh State Schools Chess Championships!
The team stood third in the National Schools in 2016, and managed to become the National Schools Champion in 2017.
Niklesh was present as the coach of the Indian team at the World School Chess Championships 2017, Sochi, Russia, where the team won the silver medal.
He was also one of the three coaches of the Indian team during the 2018 tour of Russia.
